You can anticipate catching huge numbers of walleye averaging 3 to 4 pounds almost anywhere on the reservoir. Catching 100 or more per person each day is common.

Eight Flume Falls, which is only a 5 minute boat ride from the camp is very productive for those who enjoy fishing fast water. An island at the base of the falls is a scenic spot for a shore lunch. This is also a great location for big northern pike that come in to feed on both walleye and whitefish that are abundant at the base of the falls.

Northern pike are very plentiful ranging from 5 to 30 pounds. They can be found in the many weedy bays and around rocky points.

Those looking for variety can try their hand at sturgeon fishing. These monsters do not provide the same constant fast action you will experience while angling for walleye or northern pike, however they provide quite an adventure when you catch one. Our largest caught to date was over 100 pounds.
